Tuesday Night Photo Shoot

Tuesday Night Photo Shoot

The Tuesday shoot is hosted by the Fire Conclave’s Great Circle Documentarians: Grant Palmer, Hank Leiter (Espressobuzz), Kevin LeVezu, Vimala Faith, Vanessa Franking, Stewart Eastep and Melissa Eastep.

This is an opportunity for fire performers to strut their stuff in front of the Man while the Documentarians make portraits. These images are a gift from the photographers which participants may access for non-commercial use (in other words you can’t make money with them but you can share with your family and friends).

On Tuesday, August 29 starting at 7:00 PM we will meet at 6 o’clock at the Man at L4K for the photo shoot.

Bring fuel, fire tools, costumes and your fire safety person in order to have your photo taken. You don’t have to be part of the Fire Conclave to participate but you do need to wield fire!

We are trying something new this year, and are looking for volunteers for additional fire safety for the photographer. If you act as fire watch then you can jump the line and have your photos done right after your shift. Sign up here: https://forms.gle/V96NvS8NdcmXRCWq9

Limit to Group Size: to keep the evening flowing smoothly we ask that you keep groups to less than 5 people this year.

We are a community and recognize the risk and danger in what we do as fire artists. Every person who wishes to have their photo taken must support the rest of the group by acting as safety and perimeter for others.

All bodies and identities welcome.

Questions? – Email Natalie at: natalie@burningman.org. On playa ask the folks at Fire Conclave Convergence for more information.

THE FINE PRINT: Your participation means your image will be hosted online and carry the photographer’s watermark. The Burning Man Fire Conclave may also share the images through social media for inspirational purposes.
